Android Here We Come

Another step closer to my dream phone.

I have been reading all the negative press about Android and I honestly don't get what all the fuss is about, especially the perceived developer anger. Yeah sure there wasn't a SDK update for many months but considering there isn't even an Android phone available in the stores yet that isn't a massive issue in my eyes. Also, there are an army of Java programmers out there who want to develop mobile applications but they try Java ME, realise how crap it is, and give up. Android is exactly the application execution environment they have been waiting for and once the phones become available to consumers I think the applications will start to flow thick and fast. I, for one, can't wait.
